Hi from a very happy Shar!

Hi girls, how I have missed being in touch. I love the pictures and stories and can't believe it has taken me so long to check out this web site. I so wish I could have been in some of those fun pictures with you cool girls. What a beautiful bunch of girls, quite the hotty mommas and single chickas too (Sarah and Jilly). Heh if any of y'all want to come and check out the heat and humidity in Houston, TX. I'll take you on my 5 mile loop around my neighborhood anytime! Nanner came and ran it with me a few months back and I loved running with an old teammate again. Such great fun, each of us taking turns pushing the double running stroller with her little guy and my youngest little guy chillin while we were workin'. As for a Shar update, I live in The Woodlands, TX a suburb in North Houston. I have two little boys, Marcus who is 3 and Aaron who is 1. They definitely keep me busy. I am training on my own most of the time, but have a group of marathoners I train with every once and awhile on Saturday mornings. I a 5Km race two weeks ago, it was a "Beat the Boss 5Km" for Paul's work and I can boast that I definitely beat all the bosses and Paul's boss now knows that Paul Thayer has a fast wife! Pretty silly, but I did win a $20 gift certificate to WalMart for being 1st female and that will help out the grocery budget! I had a blast putting the racing flats back on and it felt good to try running fast again. I'm actually in Utah as I write this, Paul and I are here for his brother's wedding and I have enjoyed watching my boys play with their cousin Benson Thayer (LIz Benson's son), yes Liz's son is my nephew, HOW COOL huh? He is such a cutie!

Well I am definitely hooked on the BLOG thing! I will be watching for updates from you other girls regularily now. I'll post a picture when I figure out how.
